Bed arrived in one slightly tatty but heavy box. Mostly put together without problems, however the actual base pieces were a very tight fit needing several hard hits with a hammer. One only went in place when I sat on the edge of the bed!My criticism and the reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the middle support leg. Yes it is shown in the pictures but who looks that closely at that one small piece when there’s a headboard and footboard to admire. However my feet have caught that middle leg a number of times, it’s right where I stand both getting into and out of bed. My precious metal frame bed had full length side bars therefore no need for the extra support leg.
Love this bed, great value for money and very sturdy. Very stylish and quick delivery and easy to put together.
